Secure World Foundation

Secure World Foundation (SWF) is a leading voice on the importance of space sustainability, reaching audiences worldwide and across many actors. For nearly two decades, SWF has led important research into sustainability issues, providing key inputs into international discussions and initiatives at various commercial and political levels. Through the Summit, SWF has also created a new forum where key actors can exchange views regarding space sustainability on common ground, facilitating cooperation and understanding that cuts across social, economic, and geopolitical lines.

SWF has hosted seven previous conferences, including in-person editions in Washington, DC, in 2019, London in 2022, New York City in 2023, Tokyo in 2024, and Paris in 2025. The conference has grown each year, bringing together key figures from industry, academia, and government to share their insights with an expanding audience. Last year, the 7th Summit for Space Sustainability in Tokyo saw more than 490 attendees from 35 countries, representing a global spectrum.
